About the organizer

Aarhus Dance is a organisation under Aarhus Sportsdanserforening who's primary goal is to organize and stage world class dancing events i the city of Aarhus.

Our primarily goal is to establish AARHUS INTERNATIONAL DANCE GALLA as a recognized annual international WDSF dance event - always topped up by important Championships or Grand Slam competitions.
A key element in obtaining this goal is a constant effort to make better, more eventful, and full-experience events that will stand out - and make competitors and audience want to come back for more.

Even though Aarhus Dance is new as an organization, it arises from the very experiences dance club Aarhus Sportsdanserforening - since the 1970's - has been organizing many successful dance championships in Aarhus.
Aarhus Sportsdanserforening is, at it has been for many years, the leading dance club in Denmark, and has fostered many European and World Champions through time.
Peter & Kristina Stokkebroe, Klaus Kongdal & Viktoria Franova, Allan Tornsberg & Vibeke Toft, Glenn Weiss & Gillian Thicket and Colin & Lene James are all champions coming from Aarhus Sportsdanserforening - and many of these great dancers are still attached to the club as teachers.

In future events we will invite you to come try our famous dance floor and champion teachers in training camps leading up to the Aarhus International Galla.
